Monkey Markets - Brighton

We were a stallholder at Monkey Markets in Brighton on Sunday.  It was a great day to visit a market, and there were lots lovely people who stopped by to shop.

There was free face painting for the kids, a colouring competition and lucky dips. Fifty very talented stallholders showcased their gorgeous products on the day.

We launched our new range of fabric bangles and necklaces at Monkey Markets and they were very well received.  Below are a few pictures - we hope you like them.

We had requests for some adult's fabric bangles and necklaces at Monkey Markets.  We have started working on our adults fabric range - a few bangles are pictured above in the middle photo at the bottom.

Watch this space for more photos of our children's and adult's fabric range as it develops!

Fairy Floss Markets - Geelong

Tan & I had a great day last Sunday at our first Fairy Floss market in Geelong.  It was really nice to go to a market in a different demographic.

Below is a picture of our stall at the start of the day.  There were a lot less products at our stall by the end of the day which was really exciting.  It is nice to know that people appreciate all of the love that goes into making our jewellery.

The weather was perfect - a gorgeous sunny day - and the crowd was great.  There were so many friendly shoppers appreciating all of the fantastic products on offer.  We also met some lovely fellow stallholders on the day, and we are looking forward to catching up with them again at the next market.

Hi from Cool Kids Creations

Hi there. Today is the start of our Cool Kids Creations blog and we are looking forward to being a part of the blogging world.

The two faces behind Cool Kids Creations are sisters - Kelly Tomietto & Tania Hamilton. Kelly was married to Christian in February this year (hence the photos below!) and Tania has been married to Mark for 13 years and they have two beautiful sons - Tyler (10) and Logan (8).

How did we start making jewellery? This came about when we struggled to find good quality children's jewellery for our niece Emmersyn about five years ago. Since then, we have been addicted to buying beads, charms and components - we can't stop!

We recently decided to introduce resin into our children's jewellery range, but we quickly found out that we are both severely allergic to polyurethane! With that idea out the window, we are now playing with fabrics, ribbons and cords to see what the creative part of our brains can discover.

We will not only be blogging about our products and lives, but we will also blog about other wonderful designers and artists that we have come across so you too can be inspired.

We hope you enjoy reading our blog and seeing our new creations.
